On Saturday, 25th July 2020, at the Franciscan Valley of Prayer and Silence, Saltpond, the St. Anthony of Padua Custody, Ghana celebrated the first profession of temporary vows of 12 novices  and the 50th Anniversary of the priestly ordination of Friar George ABRAM.

The vows were received by the Vicar Provincial Custos, Friar Eugene ANTWI BOASIAKO in the presence of other friars from Accra, Takoradi, Elmina and Sunyani. Ten (10) of the newly professed friars belong to the Custody of Ghana while the other two are from Uganda and Burkina Faso. The newly professed friars are: Friars Justice Kwame YALLEY, Guenole Ziem DA, Francis MUSAANYA, Matthew MENSAH, Honore Kionbi KABORE, Nicholas Opiesaw ENNIN, Emmanuel OSEI, Dennis Dei AGYEKUM,  Isaac ASAMOAH, Dominic Kwame ACKOM, Clement Nwoza MENSAH and Richmond Panyin ASSAFUAH.

Friar George Abram, the Jubilarian, received a citation from the Custody for his services to the Order and the Republic of Ghana in the area of healthcare. Congratulations brothers!
